BC unrestricted/speech

Post by donbru01 »

Dear guys ,
On ISDN PRI provider, send me BC unresctricted for each call ( also for speech call ) , but i must via DDI redirect this to analog device .
Actually PBX answer to provider destination incompatible
There are a chance to manage PBX that accept call BC unresctriced towards device analog
Thanx in advance

Hi,
If you check TC0730:
- unrestricted digital data support (this is digital data from end to end - code 88 90), a call with data support request can only be routed to a data end device

If you set in Specific Telephone Services/Phone Compatibility/Fax Group 4 = 1 will it work?

Anyway, your provider'd better comply with ITU Recommendations and set right BC for calls.

That's bad. Use digital set or ask your provider to supply right BC for calls to analog sets.

Dear Alex , you have right . But on analog sets we have a particular modem ADEMCO 685 for receive alarm busrt 16 DTMF 50ms/50ms .
Provider in Italy has switch backbone on VOIP and it send abnormal DTMF ( issue on dtmf detect ) on my PRI , lost half dtmf sending
Than we have try that if Provider manage your backbone on clear-mode all work fine but it must send me bearer capability "unrestrited digital "
