ftp session to OXE 12.0 with .netrc

Hallo!

In the old A4400 (release 6) it was possible to connect by ftp from another server to the A4400 by entering this servers IP-Adress in .netrc file.

Now I try the same in OXE release 12.0 but cannot get it to work.

Does anyone know if this is no longer allowed for the sake of security?

Ftp is allowed yes, but if your OXE has security enabled then ftp is not enabled but sftp

I had something mixed up - and put the .netrc file on the OXE instead on the server that wants to connect.
