Registering 8232 on OXE R10.1 with IP DECT

Post by jeremy13400 »

Hello,

I tried installing 8232 on OXE R10.1 with IP DECT. The documentation says it's compatible but I can't get it to work properly :
Registration seems OK but then I can't do anything. It's like "frozen"... I can't dial or press any key.
Others phones are working fine (I use Gigaset).
I put RBS and "IP Base Type" to Yes in OXE. I've installed DAP Controller v6_00_117.
I created users as SIP Extension. Documentation says that 8232 are working in AGAP mode (should be declared as GAP+) but when you set "IP Base Type" to Yes, you can't create GAP+ sets anymore...

Did anyone have the same issue before?
Thank you for reading!

Why? It should work. Seems there is another problem.
You have to create a GAP+.
Do you have IP Phones in your system? If not, create a 4068 and delete it to create the virtual Hybrid Shelf which is not created automatically in older R10.x OXE Versions.
Please do a "checkdb", too. (And post results if not clean)

And the Handset firmware version should be the latest as there were some strange behaviors with the first ones and IP-DECT.

Completely forgot to edit!

It actually worked fine the second time I tried to create GAP+ set while IP Base Type set to IP.
Don't know what happened the first time I got an error, maybe i didn't wait long enough after validating the parameter...
Anyway, 8232 is OK now.

Thank you for helping
