ABC-F Hybrid link

Post by Simba »

I have a a link between three nodes and i'm having a problem with the central node 1 communicating with node 2. communication to node 3 from 1 is OK. Wireshark at node 3 reveals UDP packets to node 1. Wireshark at node 1 only reveals UDP packets to node 3 and nothing to node 2. I'm wondering if there could be a problem in my node one given that hybvisu shows GPA as OFF and state as down as below:

Hybrid link 2000 (NRB-MSA) to node 2 (PERMANENT)
------------------------------------------------
List of accesses
+----+---------------------------------+-------------------------+-----+
| | Main signalling support | Stby signalling support | Nb |
| Nb | GPA State Position Support | GPA State Support | trk |
+----+---------------------------------+-------------------------+-----+
| 1 | OFF DOWN ( 2, 0, 0) IP | | 0 |
+----+---------------------------------+-------------------------+-----+

Hybrid link 2001 (NRB-KSM) to node 3 (PERMANENT)
------------------------------------------------
List of accesses
+----+---------------------------------+-------------------------+-----+
| | Main signalling support | Stby signalling support | Nb |
| Nb | GPA State Position Support | GPA State Support | trk |
+----+---------------------------------+-------------------------+-----+
| 1 | ON UP ( 2, 0, 1) IP | | 0 |
+----+---------------------------------+-------------------------+-----+

If the hybrid link is down, the calls will also fail.
You should review your inter-node link configuration from node 1 to 2.

You have problem with link 1-2 (signaling).
But about calls:
f.e. if you manage (node 3) links to node 1 and 2, and VPN overflow 1-3 and 2-3, and calls node 3 - node 2 works.
If on node 1 will exist VPN overflow 1-2, 1-3 and !! 2-3 - you can call from node 1 to node 2.

Check your X25 cluster linked to the hybrid link node1-node2, if it's off, put it to on. If it's ON, check IP address of the distant CPU (in the two nodes).
And for the calls, VPN ink between 1-2, 1-3 and 2-3 is the solution.
