Extensions forwarded in node disconnects when called from other node

Post by thanzeel »

We have an issue in one customer. When an extension in Node 2 is forwarded to external number and Node 1 extension calls this extension, the call gets dropped. We have seen this issue when the PRI is more than 75% full in Node 2. On no traffic on PRI in Node 2 we dont see the issue. But when dialled locally in Node 2 there is no issue in any case.

If we try from Node 2 the same scenario in Node 1, we face no issues in this case.

Needing your urgent help in this query.

for forwarding the vpn overflow must have two free channels to build up the connection. check vpn ts under trunk group. must be 100 if trunk group only used for vpn overflow.

Code: Select all

This is in the node which is forwarding the extension? I'll check and keep you updated.

I have checked the value on the trunk groups... it is 50... What should be the recommended value for this? Do I need to restart the trunks after this change?
