4645 Transfer to multiline Set

Post by dvid9976 »

hello there

I'm trying to reach a preconfigured number (3000) through the menu of a 4645 auto attendant.
I configured 4 multiline keys on the set, so I would like to be able to receive 4 simultaneous calls on the set.

System is OXE 7.01.

When the phone is busy with a single call, and again from the A.Att menu I choose the extension, this second call is automatically diverted back to the automatic attendant menu.

If you try to reach again the extension, the call is automatically diverted to Entity's 0 CDT.
That occours using Blind Transfer.
If I set Supervised transfer, you get a voice guide telling "the extension you are trying to reach is busy, bye" and the call is disconnected

Do you know if it is possible to get multiple calls transfered to the same extension simultáneously from the Automatic Attendant?

Thank you in advance

Hi

Try to set Blind transfer to NO and key 1, key 2... as silent transfer to preconfig. number.

Best regards.

Hello mate

I followed your suggetion and found that now a voice guide tells you "the extension is busy" an plays back the autoattendant menu again.

It is not transfering the call to the multiline set if it has at least one call going on.

Thanks for your suggestions

Stupid question: did you create multiline keys on the extension?

Hi

Try this:

Create a hunting group, put multiline set inside. Configure AA option to the hunting group code.
I am not sure, but I think this is what I did long time ago to blind tranfer to a multiline set.

Best regards.

Will give that a go.
My customer is on leave until next week but I will test it as soon as I can and let you know.

Thank you very much guys!!!

Hello guys

It looks like the problem was due to the multiline "thing" not working properly and got solved after a reboot of the PCX.

Thank you for your suggestions and time

Best regards
