GA board problem?
GA board problem?
Hi,
I cant find an exact problem match on the forum. The issue is one way speech between analogue or digital in different networks. I am on the OXE side (, i hear the caller but he cannot hear me. Calls to the remote extension from IP phones have no problem.

Re: GA board problem?
One way speech is related to network routing issues (or firewalls).
Check the gateway addresses on both sides INTIP/GA/GDs and ping between them.
Even if all configuration is ok on your side and you can even ping from one GD to the other and the other way around your RTP stream may be interrupted (e.g. dynamic port blocked by firewall or inconsistent routing)

Re: GA board problem?
Thanks, but I think I have a problem with GA board, because when you disconnect it from the network board (LANX16), then I have audio communication in both directions. This problem arose after disconnection system for battery replacement. Network parameters are fine and did not change.
Re: GA board problem?
HOW you can have VoIP in both direction when VoIP board disconnected? I think in this case PBX use another board (GA or GD) .
Re: GA board problem?
Of course, there is the GD board that the system used in this case.
Re: GA board problem?
The problem of communication in audio communication only in one direction exists between analog and digital phones, just when the GA board included. How to determine whether the GA board working properly?

Re: GA board problem?
Check GA configuration (proper gateway configuration, etc.) then check if you have the same routing and same firewall rules applied for the GA as for the working GD.
Re: GA board problem?
Thanks for the advice. I checked everything you recommended. Everything is fine. When you send a call, the phone rings but no audio communications. Command ‚‚compvisu -r 2 1‚‚ I see that the channel is busy GA board, but there is no audio communications.

Re: GA board problem?
A channel busy is no indication of an complete RTP stream --> only compressor resource use
Check also the path from phone to GA and GA to phone.

Re: GA board problem?
