HI,
Need an expert guy to assist for what the problem i am facing currently.
OXE System (rel11.0.1K1520.47a) and SIP phone model 8012 (rel3.59).
The client complained the SIP Phone always in one way communication (no voice from another side) and SIP always in "sleep mode" status.
1. When Extension A (1001) call to SIP phone ( 1080) 8012 model, Ext 100 can hear the dial tone, and SIP phone (1080) answered the call, but 1001 cannot hear the voice from SIP phone 1080.
2. When Extension A (1001) call to SIP phone ( 1080) 8012 model, Ext 100 can hear the dial tone, but no ringtone from SIP phone (1080). SIP register show sip phone 1080 is active. The user has to reboot or hard reset the sip phone, then only able to call in.
Does anyone have the same issue problem? Seeking your help, thanks

Check the Gateway IP, if the OXE and SIP Phone are in different networks. Are you able to ping the gateway of OXE from SIP phone network. Test it with your laptop and give it the same ip of SIP phone .
Also check the Number of IP devices parameter in the GD . Maybe compressor issue.

As per information oxe gateway is the same network. All phone get dhcp from oxe pabx. The 8012 sip phone sometime got this one way conversation issue and its working fine it self after a few minute(without doing something).for number of ip device in GD is 60 and GA board is 30.Is that enough for user with 300++ user?.Hope someone can give me an idea.
Thanks

MOST of the time, one way audio is always a network issue.
Either programming of IP networking, an IP packet can't get to its destination, or something blocked because of a network device.

in my ex-experience this kind of problem cause by one of this 4:
1)the network firewall blocked some RTP port
2)the problem caused by different codec for phones
3)routing problem in network
4)arp packet did not recieved by sip phone so phone ring but no audio(network problem again)
