SIP IVR - Assoicate Data to call

Hi

We have developed a SIP IVR on OXE SIP extensions. We want to assign some data (For example: Account ID) to the received call, so that we can get that data on CSTA call when call is transfered to the Agent through ACD.

I know that CSTA has a feature named "Associate Data" that would help us. But I don't know how I can call this CSTA function on a SIP Call. It seems we can not monitor SIP Extensions on OXE Release 9. I'm not sure if we can monitor SIP Extension on next Releases.

CSTA "Associate Data" function requires a "Connection ID" as an identifier to assciate data. But I can not have this Connection ID on SIP Extension.

May I have Trunk number of received call on SIP Invite packet?
If I could have Trunk number of received call on SIP Invite packet, I would monitor trunks on CSTA and find Connection ID through Trunk's CSTA data.

Hi asimkhan,

at least in R12 is CSTA monitoring of SIP extensions possible (not SIP device).
I currently do not know, if this is already possible in one of the R11 releases.

As far as I know, you can't monitor a trunk and retrive the connection ID there - on trunks you'll just get a Private CSTA Event (possible the access number on the trunk, just for monitoring the load of the trunk).
