Hello.
Could you please tell me why phones IP touch 4018 answer through CDP protocol with ip address 127.0.0.1. We have the following release - R11.2.2-l2.300-34-a-ru-c0
CDP protocol and Alcatel IPTouch 4018EE
Re: CDP protocol and Alcatel IPTouch 4018EE
I think CDP is a Cisco specific protocol-extension to LLDP. You can try to disable LLDP in the 4018 phone set.

Re: CDP protocol and Alcatel IPTouch 4018EE
Karik - why you ask about CDP protocol - with ALU IP sets and HP switch?
Re: CDP protocol and Alcatel IPTouch 4018EE
OP just needs just one answer - ALU 4xx8/8xx8 sets do not support CDP, because it's proprietary protocol. They support LLDP.
That's all folks.
