Connect Avaya 9608 phone direct to an OXE 11.0

Hello user :(

i have a question. sip is an universal protocoll. is it possible to connect a Avaya 9608 phone direct to an A-L OmniPXC Enterprise 11.0?
have you an idea how?

Hi acamup,

It's possible but you must have licenses foi generic Sip phones and you must have DSP in your GD card .

but is the avaya terminal a normal sip phone ??

thats the question... i do not know this kind of phone at all... but mostly sip-systemphones are using sip notify messages for speacial features... and these sip notify messages are vendor specific...

need the commands to configure qos to test packets are showing on wireshark on my laptop using alcatel 6855 u24x
