How to Secure a PCS ?

Post by tuxalize1 »

Greetings everyone,
I have read in the tech documentation that PCS can be secured by MSM box.
Need to add the PCS IP address in the address to protect. But nowhere says what type of device it is, because of there are no PCS option in there.
Should it be MG ?

Thanks,
Tux

Thanks Freedom.
So, when in PCS rescue mode the communication will be encrypted ?
Or it just encrypt the PCS signaling while not in rescue mode.

Thank you again,

Never done that, however I think it should be declared like CS not MG. Only signalling should be encrypted....may be wrong. Did you tried with this option?

I have setup as MG.
However, when in rescue mode there is no encryption in place.
I haven't setup as CS, because of it says CS(local), and the system is in production.
I will try in another opportunity.

Thanks,
Tux
