PCS - No login possible anymore after network fails

Post by satolep »

Fellas,

We are facing some problems when the PCS assumes the MG. The role issue about pcscopy and recovery works fine until the day that the PCS is no more available to connect in anyway (mtcl, swinst, root), just returns the message "Login incorrect" and nothing else its possible.

We had this problem in several PCS from different places. R9.0 path 42a

Did someone faced this problem here?

If this issue was solved in patch 36, it should not be there in patch 42a.
But since it seems to be the same issue, I would suggest to raise an eSR, referring to the former case 'crms00186501'.

I checked TC and a patch is required to correct this issue. Patch 25i (againnn). Appying a patch on 5 nodes is not so easy in my environment. :( bummerrrrrr

Reformatted the PCS . After the scheduled pcscopy, someone might encounter this alarm;
