This is a nonsense question. AA is configured on main server. PCS has same configuration as main, so when it takes over AA should work.

Sorry for the wrong question how does the automated attendant work, when the remote shelf (IP Media Gateway) lost the connection with appliance server?

The same as the AA is working on the main server.
One AA will work on main site (CS) - handling external lines in main site, one on the remote site (PCS) - handling local external lines. If you want to be able to reach extensions from both sides via AA you should configure private to public overflow (as the 2 sites are no longer connected via private link).

If you use AA on 4645 VM (and AS support 4645 VM) - on remote site AA will not works (no connection with AS, no connection with 4645)
