SIP WITHELD NUMBER

Post by selectt »

Customer has previously hand an OXO with ISDN and used the secrecy key to withhold number on demand. Is there a way for this feature to work on SIP trunks as the client has just upgraded the system to 10.3 and the secret key does not function on the new SIP trunks

thank you in advance.

It depends how the SIP trunk expect the CLIR information. By default, RFC 3325 is used, which means the From: header becomes From: <sip:anonymous@anonymous.invalid>. The second method to signalling CLIR is keeping From original and additionally send a privacy flag. Please refer to TC1765, section 4.1.2 Privacy Level.
