Metering Tickets via FTP with NMC User fails - any experts here?

Post by tzepf »

Hello together,

i have a software which tries to gather metering Tickets via FTP Port 30021 by sending Login.Dat and Accounting.Dat. Software Configuration is fine and connection is made but somehow my Oxo on 10.3 refuses to send data.

I've made an Analysis by Wireshark and following Packets are send:

Port Command to Oxo
Oxo replies Port command okay
Command "ST or Login.DAT" to Oxo
Oxo replies "Temporary hidden file /ssmgr/nmc/.in.Login.Dat already exists

This is Acked and then the connection quits...

Do you have any hints and tips which configuration could prevent the OXO from correctly supplying the files? Rebooting and also a Release Update did not help...

Thanks for any help,
Tobias

What is the reason to use external SW for metering if you have ALU solution - OLD?
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

In my opinion theres no other way to get metering working with a SIP Trunk due to the lack of metering pulses - or am i wrong?!

You get pulses or duration metering - it does not matter, OXO generates tickets without any problem.
Just activate metering on all extensions and for all type of calls , install OLD in "Call accounting mode" and get all tickets in xml format. Read TC0091.
