You can use Dirmanag to reset the password.

Go to C:\4760\bin, find the DirManag.exe application.

Login: cn=directory manager
Password: "The directory manager password used during Omnivista installation"

0=directoryRoot --> administration -->administrator -->AdminNmc --> change the field "user password" --> Ctrl + S

Try to connect with the AdminNmc login and the password.

Good luck!

Thank you very much for your reply,

And if not I have the password for "directory manager"?

There is also possibility to reset the password with a tool that was used during installation?

Hi MR_PT1,

Dirmanage.exe I could connect with the "c= directory manager", but when I save it (ctrl + s) the new password, tells me that I don't have write access

Well, I have never seen this problem. Maybe the windows user rights or network user rights.

Are you administrator or do you have administrator permissions?

The situation is as follows:

When I enter the user "cn = directory manager" and password (empty) pretends that connects but does not let you modify anything.

I think the first thing you need is to recover the password of "cn = directory manager".

You know how it could reset the password of the user "cn = directory manager"?

I don't know. I can change the userpassword field by double click.
