4760_R5.2 Windows 2008/2012 Server INcompatibilities

Hello All. Hope everybody is fine.

Dear friends, a client is migrating his windows servers platform from 2003 to 2008 or 2012. He have Omnivista 4760 R5.2 working fine.

He ask me if this version is compatible with WS 2088 or 2012 (2012 would be better).

So I ask you people if: you know Is it there any INcompatibilitie(s) of the 4760_R5.2 will not work properly on WS 2008 or 2012?

Officially only Windows 2008® R2 Server Enterprise Edition 64 bits was supported.
No WS2012 but your friend could try it as 4760 is phased-out long ago so you won't get any support from ALU - It's all on you.

i tried some time ago to install 4760 R5.2 on win 2012R2... and failed pretty hard... not worth it. stay with 2008 or migrate omnivista to something newer.
