4028 EE: "Please enter your own phone number" => not allowed

Post by Kinne_DUP »

Hi,

today I preconfigured about 40 IP Toch 4028 EE for our users. So, VLAN, 802.1x and of course the user´s number. One simply doesn´t work.
After "Please enter your own phone number", there´s usually "Please enter your passwort". Well, after enterying the number, the phone doesn´t tell me to enter the passwort. Instead it says, that this is not allowed. But the user exists within OmniVista. It´s the same config like for all other users.

Perhaps somebody of you knows what´s going wrong?

Hi. For the extension you want to assing to the 4028, check in mgr --> users --> donwload hierchary --> TSC Ip, consult/modify for the extension. Perhaps it is assigned to an othe phone set.
If you use 4760, select the extension number, expand the tree, look for TSC Ip.
Regards.
