4645 Disable Transfer to specific extensions from Automated Attendant

Hello

Did anyone try to disblable some extensions from getting reached from automatted attendant menu?
customers reach the company through a 4645 Attendant Mene, and we have some high level users that don't want to be reached by customers.

tried to modify Connection COS / transfer COS in the Voice Mail Dir number it self and in the "analog user" that the automatted attendant menu creates, but I'm always able to get transfered to the users.

assigned Connection COS for Voice Mail=10 and Connection COS for Ext=9, and then disabled the connection between them on Connection COS and in Transfer COS, but no way.

Any idea?

Hi all

just a quick note to share with you, that after I opened a SR, they came back with this answer:

Diagnosis/Analysis:

• Simulated in the lab, when there is an external incoming call to the 4645 automated attendant the announcement “please enter the number you wanted to reach” is played.
After entering the extension number the call is getting transferred, even if we forbid in the connection & transfer COS.

• The direct dial on Automated attendant uses always a supervised transfer, That’s why the restriction of transfer via connection COS doesn’t work.

• Actually there is no possibility to restrict the direct dial transfer on internal extension via 4645 Automated Attendant. It is a normal behaviour.

• A marketing request should be done for implementing this particular behaviour.



Solution:
There is no possibility to restrict the direct dial transfer on internal extension via 4645 Automated Attendant. We request you to open marketing request for this particular behaviour.

I have a similar case in a Hotel with AA.

Leaf 2 plays the message "If you know the extension number dial it now" but we changed all options to "Action Type.- Routing to Preprog. No." so it always goes to the front desk.

The issue is when they wait and go to the next leaf (leaf 3) they can dial administrative extensions. If one of this Extensions dont answer it goes to their voice mail and gives them another menu; "If you want to leave a message dial 8 / If you want to dial to another user press 9" .

The issue here is that if they dial 9 they can dial the room users and we dont want that.

Any idea on how to stop this or change the option of this "9" ?
