Post by mejust »

GUYS IM STuck and I dont know what eles to do.

I just installed a new harddrive on a VPU6 board and Installed 4635V .
The Installation went OK .
After reboot through EPROM after testes I get an error :

Timer Test......................................... PASSED

*** WARNING !! PCM System Clock Not Present ***
*** WARNING !! PCM Dependent Tests May Fail ***
*** WARNING !! Board Is Not Able To Boot ***

So the Board Never Boots

THis is my first 4635 installation so I dont know how to solve this problem.

IF I Boot from HardDisk I get this error :

LILO boot:
Loading linux
Error 0x80

I I boot from Epprom I get the PCM clock error

Im using a ACT for testes with only the VPU6 and no CPU.

Can Someone Help me .

You should have CPU with telephony running for VPU to start properly.
*** WARNING !! PCM System Clock Not Present ***
*** WARNING !! PCM Dependent Tests May Fail ***
*** WARNING !! Board Is Not Able To Boot ***
means no clock is provided in the shelf.
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.
