I'd like to know where the 4635 stores the audio files of vmessages in filesystem and if i can reach them via ftp.
Also, if is it known which (and where!) is the script that convert those audio files to wav and sends them via email.
I searched on the forum for days without finding any info about it.
I've no doc about it, i'm only a developer trying to make an automated task for a customer with 4760 + 4635.
Thank you in advance
p.s.: @frank , this forum is a huge resource. Thank you for it!

Re: 4635 messages files
i think the only way is to buy imap licenses for 4635 users and get the vmessages via imap polling.
but do you wanna really make such effort for a system which is out of support and catalog?

Re: 4635 messages files
that's exactly the point!!! The customer has that stuff and is asking to find a solution, copying/moving all the messages for the reception's number to a shared nas.
But, again, i can't find any doc or any pre-made software solution (eg.: pyton script) about where to find those files...
So i'm asking where're those files on filesystem (linux installation), or where's the script that does what you wrote (it sends via imap) so i can study it.

Re: 4635 messages files
try popcon. it gets emails by pop or imap and can send it to a folder or smtp server.

i saw it. windows and exchange... anyway you gave me an idea
At the end of the day, i think i can code something connecting through the imap and saving those files on fs.

Re: 4635 messages files
yes you can
there is an imaplib in python too. but i have'nt used it, because popcon serve that part in our scenario.
may the source be with you!
