MS Outlook 2003 Supported?

Hi all.

We have migrated to MS Outlook 2003 (as our e-mail client) - and have found that Visual Messenger now longer works (it will not install on client PCs). It appears that during the install process, it checks for the version of Outlook on the PC, and anything greater than Outlook 2002 kills the installation process.

Has anyone come up with a fix? Our local Alcatel dealer has advised us this product is no longer supported, as they are focussing their attention on the 'new' Unified messaging product.

Regards,

Hello..

Visual messenger is supported up to Microsoft Office 2000.
Any newer release will not work.
I had the same problem on another site. Alcatel said that they are working on a new release...

Not supported...

If you use the latest release (R2.015.02) it will at least let you install the standalone client on a system with Outlook 2003 (an improvement). Don't think we will see an Outlook 2003 compatible version.
Not that it helps you now, but...
the new UC software is comaptible with 2003 :D

I am using MS Outlook 07 and my visual messenger works!?!

Change the COS on my VM Box and add a new inbox folder to my Outlook acount. We have to run a script (server side) to have VM messages delivered to web interface email acount.

We are talking about VM messages being delivered to your email inbox right?

Or am I missing something here?

VM is completely faced out and replaced by MyMessaging (in some way).
If it works for you its ok, however the application development never was tested by alcatel against Office 2007 so no support or any patchs for it, there might be some functions that doesn't work. Who knows, I personaly doesn't have that tool as I use MyMessaging 8) but on customer I know they once tested and had some problems with it.

I know there were problems with 03, but my 07 set-up has been working for several months now with no issues to report.
