Does anybody has an example on how to deploy an App on the IP Touch screen? I have an OTUC installed which has the PRS installed, however I'm not able to make my app works on the IP Touch screen.
You can check if the presentation server is connected to the pabx using: appview -s
The state should be connected.
If so, first check if you created the applications in the pbx (IPTouch - IPTouch Applications - Review/Modify).
The names and indexnumbers should be exactly the same as in OTUC.
Second check that the application COS of the IPTouch set is configured ok.
The applications should have a priority different than 0.
When using 0 the application is not visible.
If this doesn't help there might be a problem with the OTUC release.
I don't know if this is one of the problems, but here are some problems with the latest release R3.0 build 172.c.
The postinstall on cd 1 is not take into account when installing OTUC.
Reinstall this postinstall by:
- login as root, and insert CD 1
- mount /mnt/cdrom
- /mnt/cdrom/Servers/Complements/Scripts/Linux/postInstall.sh
- reboot
Perhaps this will also solve problems with presentation server.
I was asking exactly on how to deploy another app apart from MyPHONE, MyMessaging, MyAssistant, i have OTUC 3.0.6 running, but i want to develop an example of XML like MyPhone, i just want to display a "Hello World!" for example
Did you have success in your application ?
I was reading documentation tonight, and I used to be a video game developer back in France. I'd like to develop some cool applications..
Yes, i achieved to do the hello world, lol, however when tried to deploy images i got stuck because they have to be in base64 and I don't know how to do this, tried with PHP to XML with function base64 but no success and this is in what i more interested, it is supposed that last version of XML API supports JPG but haven't installed yet.
Any idea on how to do this base64 thing?
Ignorance is not the problem, the problem is the one who doesn't want to learn
