MyIC on android phone

Post by kiwirk »

Hi

Happy New Year to All :)

i am trying to use my IC on a android phone and wondering if anyone can give some tips . I am testing only thru WIFI . I was able to install the client on the mobile unit and when i start getting an error - configuration error - unable to download the configuration files from client management - pls contact your administrator .

I have noticed that even all the oxe prefix are loaded on the ics server the , the fields are not populated on the devices / android / telephon settings page .

i am not using any reverse proxy now and hence configured both the public and private as the same URL ,also the ICS is running without https enabled - using only http and not https so no certificate needed "

Regards

Thanks

You must declare your device in the webadmin / devices. The server need your IMEI and the the device must be associated to your login.

Hi all,

I've the same problem here, what do you mean by the webadmin ? when i go on http://[PCX IP] i get a page where i need to login with my phone number and as i do this i have an "error : Mapping of user with device"

I already put the IMEI into the Mobility tab in OMC then i think they should be associated but still get the "error - unable to download the configuration files from client management - pls contact your administrator" ^problem when i try to login with MyIC :(

WebAdmin on ICS...
What is OMC? Isn't that OXO? Nothing related to this topic if it is the case.

You are posting in wrong section, as you said you have an OXO, this product section is for OXE.
