4018 room phone display

hi, I'm just setting up a hotel and it's the first one I have done with 4018 room extns.
all seems fine except for one thing. when I check in a room the display shows Fwd no rep --> Voicemail.
the dialtone is normal (unlike when you forwards a phone you get the voiceguide)
when the room is checked out the display goes bact to normal (date and time)
I need the display to show either date and time or guest name and extn number when checked in.
I know that I should be able to do this if the system is configured as guest mode but at present it is room mode.
any ideas?

Forward no replay - programmed during checkin?
May be just use phone feature COS with default overflow type - Fwd no rep and default overflow address - Voicemail?

On 4038/8038 the display of the fwd can be removed from the screen display even if configured. It should be the same for 4018. That was my suggestion regardless of the actual check in config.

thanks guys, I have had an update on the site that 2 of the 150 odd rooms now require 2 phones.
I have reconfigured the system into Guest mode so am not able to test at present. I will test and reply after I set it up in the lab.

hi, I tested in lab but still display shows Fwd no Rep--> Voicemail.
thanks anyway. by the way all good in guest mode i.e. displays keep the date and time and do not show forward status.
