Opera PMS, OXO Hotel Link and OmniVista 8770

Hello Team!

Environment:
OXO R10.3
OmniVista 8770 R3.0
OLD Driver 2.3.12
Opera ?

Questions:
- Could operate Opera PMS call accounting by OmniVista 8770 and if so how is that possible? If positive answer technical support of PMS software asks which are the communication port? How could configure such a communication port?
- Could communicate PMS software with OLD driver and OXO through OV8770 or it should be taken two separate connections?

OV8770 has nothing to do with a PMS.
The PMS should be able to do accounting based on information received from OLD.
Did you ceched the Opera OXO interworking report?

If Opera does not include call accounting module by duration what can we do?
Because the public telephony service provider does not supply pulse metering (AOC) on trunks and OXO is unable to calculate costs by duration.

From Opera IER for OXO:
SMDR message of a charged outgoing call with pulses or cost. Call done on room extension.

You do not need AOC but internal cost accounting in OXO. (OMC-->Counting)

So your solution would be that you provide Opera the cost not the duration...

Wondering if you got this working...I have same issue on OXO where I can't get OXO to cost calls, always comes as zero cost. I posted my config but no responded. All .xml tickets show correct info but cost is always zero.Let me know if you got it working. Thanks

OXO can not calculate the cost if metering pulses /AOC are missing from the provider.
Only OXE calculates the cost by duration.

Is there a way to setup PRI on OXE side to send pulses across PRI for lab environment. I have OXO connected to OXE via PRI. All other functions work. Thanks for answering

Aurelian, read TC0091 and look for cost metering configuration as workaround. It is only related to OLD driver (OXO used)
