Integrating Auto Discovery with Vital QIP 8.0

Hi Guys,

I am trying to get Auto Discovery to work with my Vital QIP 8.0. I managed to get the tab that says links and under that it shows Auto Discovery on the web interface. The problem is that when I click on the Auto Discovery link, it gives error 404 and says that the destination is not obtainable.

Any idea of what could be the problem?

It is a single server installation, now remotes and it is the first time I am doing an install like this.

You need to edit the qip.properties file with the following lines and it should work where x.x.x.x is the IP address of the server where Auto Discovery is installed.

links=Auto Discovery,qip/icon/autoDisc.gif,http://x.x.x.x:8082
auto_discovery.url=http://x.x.x.x:8082
