NICE configuration

Hi guys,

One of our clients is using a NICE recorder for digital lines (no Dr-link) -parallel port connection.

One issue that we have is that NICE starts recording without reason (ghost calls recorded even in Sundays without audio).
I tried to change the level and even the type of detector (from LEVEL to On hook/off hook) without joy --> level too high, the recording doesn't start; off hook detected but on hook not detected.
The client records both Reflexes and 9 series terminals (ghost calls happen for both types) on eUA32 cards.

Any ideas and configuration tips are welcome.

The thing is that the detection LEVEL need to be adjusted taking into consideration the length of the telephone link (the client moved several phones from one side of the building to the other which was three distribution frames far than before).

Does this NICE (and expensive) box have possibilty to set "Detector type" to Answer/Off-hook option? That would be more logical.

Yes. But it doesn't work. I have tested it and it does detect off hook, but not on hook. Solved anyway with different values for LEVEL. Now all is ok.
