PROBLEM RECORDING IPDESKTOP WITH NICEPERFORM III

Post by andres.martinez »

Good Day

i have OXE R.9 and a NICE PERFORM III, in the bussiness partner says that works with TSAPI 6,3 but there's no extra info on configuration procedure, i have iptouch 4018, 28 and 68 all of this works great with the NICE but the softphone doesn't, NICE says the softphone should send the packets twice after activation of calls but in the sniffer you don't see this, if anyone has a recommendation please tell me the version of the IPDESKTOP 1.0.2.81

Kindly,
give us your DRLink license counters, as i remember:
the IP DR-Link (sending copy of RTP packets) Is for "real" ip touch, i.e. no "software emulation" in mgr, and real ip-phone.

iirc license numers:

Also what release of OXE and patch (Locks no. 130, 145, 164, 334)

Acording to docs:
"In addition following devices are monitorable by CSTA but not supported by Dr-Link:
o Virtual sets (ie. with no physical address)
o 4980 or CCA in Nomadic mode (GSM or VoIP)" (Docs dated 2003)

And still in 2008: "Designed for IP Touch phone Series 8 sets"

What does incvisu say? Tried to monitor and record them "by hand" with CSTA?

And don't say: my BP havn't said that SoftPhones are not recorded.
In old nice (Old DRLink to be precise) in order to record 4980 you needed some trunk recording...
even it was sold as 'Total Recording Solution'.

Imvho: only passive RTP capture behind the INTIP/GD/GA cards. No way to have it on softphone.
Or maybe rewrite the 4068 softphone emulator.
Please note that at no time I will provide you with OXE/4400 nor AOS releases.
Note that it's our private time, that we spent to help you, so please don't expect complete solution for your problem.
You will need to do homework by your self.
