Message light on IPtouch with A8440 Voicemail

Post by bibou »

Hi all,

I am currently facing 2 problems with an OmniTouch 8440 Voicemail installation :

- When we leave a voicemail to any user on the system, the LED on the phone starts to blink but the day after the light disapears despite not having listened to the new voicemail received. The problem seems to happen with IP Touch 4038 Extended Edition phones (the flashing light stays with an IP touch 4038);

- We can't leave a message to any user from the Attendant 4059 IP console: it states "Inaccessible station" when we try to forward the call to the user's voicemail.
(When we select the number to cal, the software brings up a voicemail button, if we click on that voicemail button we get the error);

CallServer version : h1.301.31c (R9.0)
Attendant 4059 IP console version : 5.3.1
A8440 Version : ICS R6.1.000.103.c

BG ( 4028), CG (4038), DG (4068) : bootloader 4.10.80 / application 4.15.80 / data 4.10.80
BEE ( 4028EE), CEE (4038EE), DEE (4068EE) : SIP 1.11.00

After upgrading the Call Server to version 10 -> j141034c :

- We can now leave a message to any user from the Attendant 4059 IP console -> problem resolved;

- We still have the LED flashing issue(the light disapears despite not having listened to the new voicemail received)

ANY IDEAS????????

I've Found out what was the problem. My client had left his old 4645 voicemail connected. So every night the 4645 voicemail was sending a "no new message notification" to all extensions which was causing the flash light disapear on ip touch phones.

Hi Bibou,

Could you, please, let us know what did you do to fix your 4059 problem? I am in the same situation. D'avance, merci
