Problems connecting to OXE

Post by RobertBreu »

Hi,

has anyone sucessfully connected the 8460 to an OXE?
Can you provide me a short documentation?
I have tried it with the Docs from Alcatel but without success.

Thanks

Without success...on which part? Can you at least describe what you have done so far because documentation on FaxServer integration with OXE is fearly understandable.

Hi,

i have problems with the SIP-Connection between the OXE and the Teamworkserver (8460). I have created a SIP-Trunk Group, the SIP Gateway, SIP Proxy and a external Voice-Mail-System on the OXE. On the Teamwork Server i have configured the SIP-Options as it is described in the documentation. I have also a 8400 Server (ICS) with integrated Voicemail and Telephony Services and on this server the connection to OXE was no problem.

After SIP (TG, gateway) creation - you need to reboot PBX.
Check with "killall sipmotor" - TG must go out of services and come back in services.

Hi,

i have done a reboot and the Voicemail and so on works fine with the same trunk group...just the teamwork server doesn't connect to the oxe. Did anyone tried this and can post a short documentation? The Doc from ALU is very bad.

What do you mean by "doesn't connect"?
ACS is not supposed to "connect" as, e.g. PSTN PRI connection.
MyTW is just an external SIP gateway for conference calls.
Can you call OXE extension from MTW client?

Now it's getting clear.
What you see on OXE side?
Run "motortace 2;traced" in OXE when calling OXE from MTW client.
Did you managed Phone number formatting and DAS rules?

Hi,

the trace on oxe is empty...nothing!
I have managed Phone numer formatting this way "Extension Pattern /^\s*\+*[xX]?(\d{2,5})\s*$/ " the other fields i left blank. And at the DAS rules i have changed nothing (default).
