New CPU8 - LAN / Serial Connection

Post by junoooni »

I have a new ACT28 with 2 x CPU-8's and 2 x IO2N boards and each CPU8 is connected to 1 x IO2N board with a weird board in front... my question is, how do i get access to CPU8 to configure IP and connect to customer network? i have installed CPU7 once but it came with a CBRMA board but this time i didnt got it.... is there any new connectivity?

hmm
do you use a "nullmodem cable" for the connection from the brma to the PC?

Finally it turned out that there was a lot of CPU-8 which BIOS wasnt compatible with Windows 10... ended up using an XP PC and everything worked fine
