How to change the telnet port of your PABX

This will explain you how to do it.
Remember that telnet is NOT secure anyway. If you are looking for a secured way of getting into the box, activate IP security with SSH.

I am trying to telnet into my Alcatel OmniPCX but it goes blank on DOS screen. I tried pinging the Server and it works but Telnetting does not work.
How do i bypass it or get access to it.

your pc ip adress is it recognised by your oxe ? check out under netadmin -m
creat at least a static route from oxe to host

lol
you're not login via telnet so the procedure above should be done under v24 console
use v24 serial port and check security and static route
