Newbie - Docs for OmniVista 4760i ?!?
Hello! I am new to Alcatel-Lucent as well as to AlcatelUnleashed. I am also new to the company that I am currently working for and I cannot find any supporting documentation for the OmniVista 4760i system anywhere! I am interested in documentation such as user guides, manuals, new user setup instructions, etc. and so on.
As far as I can tell we are running "Version name: f5.401. Patch No.: 36". (I hope that is helpful).
We are currently using the following phone set types: 4035T, 4037 (4035 & TSC IP), 4022 (4020 & TSC IP), 4028, 4068, 4010, 4010 & TSC IP, 4020, Gap+. Can someone please let me know what "TSC IP" stands for? I get the IP part but not the TSC part.
Thank you very much! Happy New year!

Hi ,
If you have access to the business partner web site (http://www.businesspartner.alcatel-lucent.com), then you should be able to find all the documents you are looking for.
If you do not, check the old board at http://old.alcatelunleashed.com
If you do not find anything, wait a couple of days/weeks, little by little when we are going to rebuild this board, docs will be uploaded..
Frank.

Re: Newbie - Docs for OmniVista 4760i ?!?
Hi, newbie here, is the documentations still accessible? I desperately need this, 1st time admin person to this system and has been left with no documentation and no help. The previous person has left and hasn't left much behind. Thanks in advance.

you need doc about 4760i? Or about PBX?
Re: Newbie - Docs for OmniVista 4760i ?!?
4760i please...i can logon ok but am not sure how to change an extenstion from being a cordless phone to a corded phone. Not able to change the type. thanks.
Re: Newbie - Docs for OmniVista 4760i ?!?
You need knowledge about system (PBX), not about management software.
In your case - delete cordless phone and create corded (with the same main parameters - dir number, name, entity, COS).

Thanks Vad. Where can I go and absorb some PBX knowledge or if i can get some from knowledgebase somehwere?
I tried deleting the cordless extension but it says it is monitored by attendant. How do I find out which attendant set is associated with it? What is the implication of deleting the attendant set? I am not game in deleting anything especially when it is something I dont know about. Thanks.
