STOP CALL PROCEEDING MESSAGE ISDN TO FOR PATTON SIP IAD

Post by johnhcs »

I have interfaced an OXO to a Patton BRI to SIP IAD.
It all works welll except the BRI is causing both Call Proceeding, 183 and RINGING 180 messages in response to a SIP INVITE as below;
INVITE

PBX BRI> IAD>Proceeding

IAD>Broadworks>183 proceeding with no SDP as we do not use tones

PBX BRI>IAD>RINGING

IAD>Broadworks>180 Ringing NO SDP.

I need to stop the Call Proceedng at the ISDN layer and cannot find a suitable Noteworthy addresss. I need to remove 0x02 CALL_PROCEEDING Ref: D,19 from the signalling as per the trace portion below

Can anyone help?

I tried using noteworthy address RemovePi (Pi= Progress Indicator) but no difference, (set to FF)

ISDN3_00004 04/05 16:47:27 TX d_channel: 52 (S:00 T:000) payload: (7) 08 01 93 02 18 01 89

0x02 CALL_PROCEEDING Ref: D,19

ie 0x18 Channel identification: 89

Interface identifier: Implicit

Interface type: Basic

Indicated channel: Exclusive

D-channel identified: Yes

Information channel selection: B1 channel

I would play with PRACK and P-EARLY-MEDIA settings of the Patton box or would use a recent OXO software and let OXO speak SIP directly with Broadworks
