Hi all
I'm having a bit of a problem trying to troubleshoot an issue where calls received via the SIP trunk that suppose to reach a particular extension always seem to be hitting our reception number. The Direct Inbound Dial used to work when we were using IDSN
i.e. I dial 61042405 with the intention of reaching my ext of 2405, but goes to 2400 instead
Public and Restricted numbering Plans been set to
Subscriber - 61042400 to 61042400 Base: 2400 (Base: 100 restricted)
Subscriber - 61042401 to 61042499 Base: 2401 Sip Acc Index: 1
In my base station config page, I have Internal 2405; Public: 61042405; Restricted: 61042405 assigned to my handset
Any ideas?
DID via SIP goes to Reception
Re: DID via SIP goes to Reception
Make SIP trace - may be you receive Calling number not 61042405 but (f.e.) 2405, 061042405....
And create Subscribers in Private plan too.

Re: DID via SIP goes to Reception
so I figured out how to do a voip trace, so it comes up as the full area code as well 0861042405
obviously I cannot put the full number in the dialing plan as it supports 8 digits
To: <sip:0861042405@10.246.193.18:5060>
Call-ID: 42f37a3e18d2922d12d6cbeb1a3ab871@10.246.193.18:5050
X-voipnow-did: 0861042405

Re: DID via SIP goes to Reception
Read in system doc about "DID with more than 4 digits" (installation number etc.)
Another (not sure) - you can "cut" the number.
F.e. you have 086104XXXX
Create in dialing plan (public, private, restricted) - Loop Back Current 086104 086104
After this number 0861042405 will be transformed to 2405 and you need to manage just last 4 digits
