problem with SIP trunking between 2 OXO

Hello,

I just tried to connect 2 OXO, one R9.2 the other R10, via SIP. Unfortunately I cannot make calls between them.

I also can't find an Alcatel document, where this is decribed. I did many H323 connections between OXOs and it always worked just fine. But now with SIP, I can't get it working.
Is there s.th. special to do? Can anyone please give me a hand with that?

Thank You very much.

kind regards

Hi

There is no special configuration to get trunk to trunk with SIP. It is the same way as H323.
What happens when you try to call? Is your VPN running OK? NAT involved?

Best regards.

Hi,

thanks for Your reply.
It happens just nothing. When I try to call an extension on the other OXO, there is just silence for many seconds and then "not possible".
The VPN, NAT, firewall will be checked by customers IT. I hope there is a problem with the VPN or firewall.
Do I need the option registration with login and password to connect 2 OXO via SIP?

Thank You and have a nice day.

kind regards

Hi

You don't need user and password to connect two OXO.
Is there NAT involved? OXO doesn't understand NAT. It must be the OXO IP address in source address.
Do you have Wireshark traces of a call to share?

Best regards.
