Alcatel 4400 5.0-Ux migration to Appliance Server R11.1

Hi All,

I am going to upgrade Alcatel 4400 5.0-Ux (CPU-6) to Alcatel Appliance Server R11.1. Please suggest that how can I restore the old backup to the new Appliance Server.

i'm not sure but you can't go strightly from R5Ux to r11.1Lx , you should go through intermediate release fe R7.1lx with database translation.
from that release(or R9.1) to r11 translation will be done automaticlly .
search on th forum you will find some similar case
