Hi Experts,
I have a new systems (Duplicated CS-2 on MR3) which came pre-installed with OXE 11.2 l2.300.29.b..... I want to update latest patches and I can see latest GA is l2.300.35... I checked on TC2326 but couldn't find the instruction on how to apply patches...
Can someone guide me to the document/ process on updating patches on OXE...
Regards
Upgrade OXE

Re: Upgrade OXE
System documentation, basically same process as new installation but you choose a patch

Re: Upgrade OXE
I checked the documentation but it is a bit vague (at least for me)... I am having duplicated CS-2... In my case, what all steps I need to follow? e.g.
Take Backup
Using PC Installer on my laptop upgrade the Standby First
Once Standby upgrades, do a bascul and then upgrade Primary server
Once Primary upgraded, verify the DB and twin status
Do a bascul again so that primary can take over
Is above steps all i need to do or is there anything else i need to consider?
During bascul , service will be affected to secondary can takeover instantly without any calls dropping?
UPgrade will not remove any configuration?

Re: Upgrade OXE
You can do it by
Firstly you can do in inactive partition by loading the release with latest patch in inactive partition on standby CPU
Then on standby CPU stop the telephone application and do inactive partition switchover on follow the commands until the role of th e CPU becomes standby
After that give bascul from the initial running Main CPU & Now your OXE will switchover to the standby CPU (Which is not main earlier) and it will run on this latest patch.
Then test all the features and after that repeat the same thing for the main CPU and finally give twin to verify all the things showing ok
Note : Take backup of main OXE cpu before patch upgradation also verify all the features
