4125 Set Language changing

Dear Enio, After playing with your suggestions i have following queries

(1) Can we use B47 only to restrict calls/ i mean why B43/B47 both use for restrictions??
(2) I tried yours suggestion regarding restriction but i am still unable to restrict extension, some times it work and some
time not. For your reference we have following calls setup/Prefix

00=International calls for example 009221xxxxxx is international call
03=Mobile calls for example 0321xxxxxxx or 0333xxxx is mobile call
3/4/5/6/7/8=Local calls for example 3xxxxxx or 5xxxxxx is local calls

Now i wants to restrict some extension not to dial international calls (00) but able to dial mobile (03) and local calls.
I also need some extension should only dial local calls(3xxx/4xxxx) but wouldnot able to dial calls starting with "0" or "00"
Can you guide how can i restrict extension not to dial "0" or "00" after accessing PSTN line.

(3) Is there any features code available on analog set like what is transfer code? what is call forward or conference code.

I know this post going long but thats the only school where i found this info on Alcatel 4100.
Please guide.

Well, let´s go:

Make this before of all:

B49 + password
The display shows something. Press BIS key four times to erase all data. then make below:

1100 00 BIS
1000 01 BIS
1000 02 BIS
1000 03 BIS
1000 04 BIS
1000 05 BIS
1000 06 BIS
1000 07 BIS
1000 08 BIS
1000 09 BIS

Then press release key.


B 47 + password + 000
It shows something, input with the number of digits for your local calls, by example 008 for local calls with 8 digits, press BIS.
Go to field 003, it shows something, input with the number of digits for your national calls, by example 013 for national calls with 13 digits, press BIS.
Go to field 006, it shows something, input with the number of digits for your international calls, by example 019 for international calls with 19 digits, press BIS.
Go to field 001, keep as 003, press BIS.
Go to field 002, keep as 000, press BIS.
Go to field 004, keep as 003, press BIS.
Go to field 005, keep as 003, press BIS.

And erase all data at B43.

Then, if you want an extensions make calls for local, national or international:

B21 + password + extension number + first bit as 3: all calls.
B21 + password + extension number + first bit as 2: local and national calls.
B21 + password + extension number + first bit as 1: local calls.

With these configurations I think it will work. I don´t know you number range at Pakistan, but these worked very fine at Brazil.

Call forwarded is 62 + entension number.
To cancel is 63.

Conference code is 3.

I don´t have a feature list code with me now, I´m not at the office. But if I find it I send to you.

Hi Enio, The conference code is not working other things as you advised are OK. I also check conference code using hook flash and as well as dialing this code directly while i was on with caller.
Further how can i make Trunk Route/Trunk Group so that i can assign all trunk to this group and assigned an Access Code to this trunk group. So that user could access these trunk through access code.

I checked conference code, it is 3, at least in Brazil. You call first extension/trunk, press flash key, then you call second extension/trunk and then falsh + 3.

You don´t have ARS/LCR table on 4100. To access different kind of trunk you need to put trunks in different groups.

B50 + password + trunk number from 01 to 28.

At the nineth bit you set the trunk group as:

1 - trunk group access by 0.
2 - trunk group access by 82.
3 - trunk group access by 83.
4 - trunk group access by 84.
5 - trunk group access by 85.
6 - trunk group access by 86.
7 - trunk group access by 87.
8 - trunk group access by 88.

Then you give rights for extensions through B51 program:

B 51 + password + extension number

0 disable access to trunk group
1 enable access to trunk group

You have eight bits when you type the extension

bit 1 from left to right - trunk group 8 access by 88
bit 2 from left to right - trunk group 7 access by 87
bit 3 from left to right - trunk group 6 access by 86
bit 4 from left to right - trunk group 5 access by 85
bit 5 from left to right - trunk group 4 access by 84
bit 6 from left to right - trunk group 3 access by 83
bit 7 from left to right - trunk group 2 access by 82
bit 8 from left to right - trunk group 1 access by 0

Hi Enio, Many thanks for help, i managed to resolve all problem. One last thing does any body have TEL SET 4125 installation/Usr manual?? and a list of set compaitable with 4100??

Unfortunately there aren´t user manual for 4125 in files. At least I don´t have it.
You can use the follow set in 4100:

4125
4105
4123
4103
4121
4101
and analog sets.

any one who can help us in our problem. our alcatel 4100 pabx was accidentally reset to the default configuration cause by brown out
we are hardly get outside call specially trhu single local phone and instead of dial 9 for outside now is dial 0. and how to configure our trunk line.
