Can not learn new Mac Adresses

Hi All,

Whenver i try to configure a new service onto an existing switch , the alcatel will not learn a new mac address on that ethernet service untill the unit is re booted .

Has anyone come accross this and is there a way to learn a new service mac address without reloading the whole Unit?

I have seen similar behavior with some special wired android clients (tv receiver for mc stream). If the client doesn't sent any packets than the switch must not learn any mac address.
Did you see the same behavior with windows clients?
