How to remove @mac learned ?

Post by MathieuLTP »

Hello ALl !

I try on lab to use LPS on a switch 6250.

I use these commands :
port-security 1/1 admin-status enable
port-security 1/1 maximum 1
port-security shutdown 10 convert-to-static enable
port-security 1/1 max-filtering 0
port-security 1/1 violation shutdown

It's OK to blocking port after violation.
But if i need to replace a trusted device on the port 1/1 , how can i remove @mac learned on this port and re-learn the new @mac dynamically ?

Thanks in advance.
Mathieu.

Hi Mathieu,
im my opinion you cannot do it dynamically, that's why it's called static...

you can delete the static entry: port-security 1/1 no mac .....
connect the new device and convert to static: port-security convert-to-static
