Console CLI session disabled ?!

Post by RonaldV »

I need to reset this switch but can't connect by CLI.

The message I'm getting is:

RI DEC 01 01:33:23 : SYSTEM (75) info message:
+++ Switch Logging device '10.37.7.2' enabled for output
+++ Switch Logging device '10.37.7.130' enabled for output
+++ Switch Logging device '10.37.7.7' enabled for output
logi=n= =: = Console CLI session disabled ====

How can I manage this switch??

If console access is forbidden you can try to connect via ssh, telnet, http. Something should be allowed.
Without any success you can reboot the switch, interrupt the boot process and rename the boot.cfg (in certified) and if the admin-password is also unknown also rename the usertable. Than your swith will boot with blank config....
