OmniAccess 5300 - Basic informations

Post by nikolami »

Since there is no particular forum for OmniAccess 5300 routers, the most similar devices to them are OmniAccess 5510 routers.

OmniAccess 5300 BG has 2 models, 5305 and 5320, with various sub models.

From Alcatel’s datasheet:
“ The Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess 5305 Business Gateway (BG) product provides multiservice/converged access gateways for use with broadband or IP networks, enabling converged voice and data at the network edge (the customer’s premises). The OmniAccess 5305 BG is a low-cost, fixed-configuration platform that is easy to deploy, configure and manage. The OmniAccess 5305 BG is targeted at operators and carriers that seek to offer next-generation network (NGN)/IMS/IP Centrex solutions that will include converged access (voice and data) devices in their SMB customer networks.
