OA 5510 not resolving DNS

Post by apollohe »

I have a very basic network configuration, vlan 1 for my LAN and Ethernet for my public IP. I have NAT and is working correctly as I can get to the Internet, but when I set the OA5510 as my DNS server in my client PC it cannot resolve name, I can ping the address but not the name, is anybody having the same issue? I get it to work by setting my ISP's DNS server in the client PC, also it resolves correctly pinging from the OA, any ideas if there's a command to "activate" the DNS server/relay?

Thanks

The firewall is as default from factory, do I need to configure something specific for DNS to resolve? I even tried a match-list with ip any any

I have add this lines for the incoming traffic to the firewall.

match-list dyndns
1 tcp prefix 63.208.196.0/24 any service http
2 udp any any service dns

I have dyndns.org as ddns provider.
