[Ques] How to manage all switches in this topology?

Post by dangkita »

Dear all,
I downloaded this topology in the internet and wonder how we can manage all switches in this topo?

As far as i know, we will only manage 2 switches: 9700 and 6850B that have management vlan in this topo, right?

Configuration of switches are in file below.

Thanks.

It is the case, Omnivista is only able to manage 2 switches : 9700 and 6850B via management vlan.

In this scenario, 6850A & C are customer switches, so not under Provider responsability.

We don't care about op and vlan coming through client switches.

hello

Yes you can do it :

1- extend management svlan - best solution
2- go through routing to an ip interface on the CPE
