cpipe service

Post by thakadbd »

I am trying to create the cpipe service and bind it to an SDP which is both admin and oper up. Below is the config used:

Cpipe 22 customer 1 create
Sap 1/4/4.1 create
No shutdown
Exit

Echo sdp to be used is 112
Spoke-sdp 112:22 create
No shut
Exit
No shut

Here is what I get when running the various show commands:
Show service sap-using output is:
Port svcId Ing Qos Ing Filter Egr Qos Egr Qos Admin Oper
1/4/4.1 22 1 none 1 none up up

Show service sdp output
SdpId Adm MTU Oper MTU Ip Add Adm Oper Delivery Signal
112 0 1516 10.8.255.112 up up MPLS TLDP

Show service service-using output
SvcId Type Admin Oper Customer Id Service Name
22 cpipe up down 1

Show service sdp-using output
SvcId SdpId Type FarEnd Oper Status I label E label
22 112:22 spok 10.8.255.112 Down 131067 131068

Show port 1/4/4 output indicate that the admin and oper status are up. This port is configured for x21 operation. How do I get the operational status I am getting for show service sdp-using and show service service-using to be up

Could you give the detail topology?
then have you ever check in fare-end. is it using same vc-di in your local router?
then check vc-id in your service with this command:

Code: Select all

show service id <service-id number> sdp <vc-id number> detail
check what the flag result. Maybe miss match...

Thanks

More infomation:

I am receiving the following flag: PathMTUTooSmall
Cfg alarm: Stray malformed pktloss overrun underrun
Alarm status: pktloss underrun

Please note that I have two Access routers (7705) connected to an aggregate router (also 7705) via E1. I need a cpipe service between the two access routers.

Thanks in advance

I have manage to sort the problem out. One had to change the service MTU to a value less than the SDP MTU
