Hi, Im having a hard time consoling in the 7705 sar-8. I was wondering if any one got a diagram of build my own serial to RJ45 adappter .

I am having a similar issue, not able to console to SAR-8 router. Is there any solution available?

There are a couple of options here. First make sure your USB-to-serial adapter is the appropriate one. You may need a null modem adapter for the cable you are using to get a working connection. If you have access to a cisco console cable it will work for connecting to the console port on the 7705. You may need a serial gender changer to be able to connect your serial to rj45 and it may need to be a null modem or straight through. Make sure your putty settings are correct as well. Speed for the connection is default 115200. Make sure you have your serial putty settings set that way.
