Hash-Label on 7x50

Post by gargoyle »

Hi guys,

I have a problem with LAG balancing in network interface on 7x50.
currently i use hash-label to solve the problem which it applied in each service with high traffic utilization.
  • VPLS
    Hash-label : if both far & near-end have capability hash-label configuration
    Hash-label signal-capability : if far-end doesn't support hash-label (there is/are port interface which bind to iom-20g)
  • Epipe :
    Policer + Hash-label : if both far & near-end have capability hash-label configuration
    Policer + Hash-label signal-capability : if far-end doesn't support hash-label (there is/are port interface which bind to iom-20g)
it works well for some services, the traffic will distribute to each port in network lag, but there is some cases that traffic wont split to each network interface. especially if the flow "one to one" (1 IP/MAC source to 1 IP/MAC Destination).

do you have any suggestion what configuration should i try for that kind of traffic, to load balance the network LAG?
